Michael was inspired to pursue accounting as a profession after taking his first accounting class at West Texas A&M.

Michael joined the Brown Graham team in 2002 and has spent his entire professional career with the firm. In addition to his role as the managing shareholder of the firm’s Prosper office, Michael serves as a trustee for the firm’s 401k plan and is a former member of the executive committee. He specializes in working with clients in the Oil & Gas, Real Estate, Health Care, and Professional Services industries, while also providing high-quality service to high-net-worth individuals. A caring and detail-oriented professional, Michael believes that if something is worth doing, it is worth doing completely.

Originally from Borger, Texas, Michael now lives in Celina with his wife, Taryn; their son, Thatcher; and their three miniature dachshunds. He enjoys Celina for all the great restaurants and local activities. A sports enthusiast, Michael enjoys exercising, playing fantasy football, and playing pool in his free time.
