In 2025, Brown, Graham & Company, P.C. proudly celebrates a major milestone—70 years of trusted service to individuals, businesses, and communities across Texas. For seven decades, our firm has remained steadfast in our commitment to excellence, client-focused solutions, and a culture built on integrity and professionalism.

A Legacy That Began in 1955

Our journey began in 1955 in Hereford, Texas, when brothers Bob and Howard Brown, along with Wilmer Graham and Art Glover, came together to form a small public accounting firm. It all started with a simple phone call—while fly-fishing in Colorado, Howard received word that Bob had purchased a CPA practice, officially setting the foundation for what would become Brown, Graham & Company.

From those early days, the firm focused on building lasting relationships with clients in agriculture, grain processing, cattle ranching, and oil and gas. These industries formed the backbone of many Texas communities, and BG&C was proud to offer financial guidance that helped clients grow and thrive.

Expanding to Meet Evolving Needs

Throughout the 1950s and 1960s, our firm experienced steady growth, both in the number of professionals and in the areas we served. Offices opened in Tulia, Friona, Spearman, Canyon, Dimmitt, Pampa, Perryton, and Shamrock, allowing us to extend our reach and support clients in more rural and urban markets alike.

Today, Brown, Graham & Company serves clients from five key locations: Amarillo, Austin, Pampa, Prosper, and Spearman, with a team of over 85 skilled professionals. While our footprint has expanded, our mission remains the same—to deliver expert advice with a personal touch.

A Culture of Trust, Collaboration, and Care

One of the most distinctive aspects of BG&C is our people-centered culture. We believe that trust is earned through consistency, transparency, and service. Over the past 70 years, we’ve built our reputation on treating our clients with respect and operating with the highest level of integrity.

Internally, we are proud to foster a workplace where collaboration, balance, and professional development are encouraged. We understand that investing in our people means better outcomes for our clients. That’s why our leadership team has developed a clear succession strategy—one that ensures the firm will remain strong and independent for generations to come.

Honoring the Past, Embracing the Future

As we reflect on this milestone year, we are filled with gratitude—for the clients who have trusted us with their financial futures, for the dedicated employees who have built their careers with us, and for the communities that continue to support and inspire us.

Looking ahead, our vision remains as focused as ever:
“To be the most sought-after business advisory firm, where clients come for proactive solutions and the peace of mind that their interests are being cared for by a team that enjoys working with them and one another.”

With deep roots and forward momentum, Brown, Graham & Company is prepared to meet the challenges of tomorrow while honoring the legacy of excellence that began in 1955.

Thank You for 70 Incredible Years

We extend our sincere thanks to all who have played a part in our story—clients, colleagues, partners, and community leaders. Your trust and support have shaped who we are, and we look forward to continuing this journey together.

Here’s to 70 years of service—and to many more years of growth, partnership, and innovation.
