After taking an accounting class in high school, Mikal realized that he had a knack for the subject and decided to make a career of it.

Fun Fact: Mikal’s favorite book is The Old Man and the Sea by Ernest Hemingway. He would love to be a boat captain.
Mikal first joined the Brown, Graham & Company (BGC) team in 1997; after a brief hiatus from 2002-2004, he rejoined the firm. Today, he serves as shareholder, Vice President, and manager of the BGC Spearman office. He serves primarily clients in the agricultural and agricultural support industries, providing both tax and audit services. In his capacity as a member of the BGC leadership team, he sits on the firm’s Executive Committee. Mikal is a reliable and trustworthy professional who is driven to succeed and always willing to go the extra mile for his clients.
Raised in Stinnett, Texas, Mikal currently lives in Spearman with his wife, Carla. They have two adult children. Mikal enjoys living in Spearman because it is a small town where everyone knows each other and because he can ride his bike to work. His hobbies include playing golf, hunting, and fishing. He also enjoys keeping up with Oklahoma Sooners football. When he has the opportunity to travel, Mikal’s favorite destination is anywhere tropical with a beach.
